QUALIFICATIONS

Helen Deng is an Intellectual Property Lawyer and Trans-Tasman Patent and Trade Mark Attorney based in Australia. Before qualifying as a solicitor and practicing law, she completed a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of New South Wales (UNSW), specialising in Biomaterials and Ceramics. Helen also holds both a Master’s and a Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science and Engineering, with a focus on Metals. Additionally, she completed a Master of Intellectual Property Law at the University of Technology Sydney.

Helen has extensive experience managing complex patent infringement and invalidity litigation before the Federal Court of Australia.
